This module can be used for the selection, computation and baulk of tumbling bearings. The programme provides
solutions to the following tasks:
- Selection and baulk of a proper bearing. This module includes a database of approx. 5, 000 inch tumbling bearings
from RBC Bearings, Nice Ball Bearing, General Bearing Company, New Hampshire Ball Bearing, NMB USA Inc.,
MRC Bearing Group, Fafnir Bearings Company, Torrington Company, Timken Company, Barden Precision Bearing,
McGill Manufacturing Co. Inc., NTN Bearing Corporation and INA USA Corporation
- Calculation of basal bearing parameters (spirit, electrostatic safety, etc.).
- Calculation of adjusted bearing spirit acc. to the new methodology of ISO 281.
- Calculation of cargo with a match of tapered roller bearings or a match angular middleman ball bearings resp.
- Support of 2D CAD (AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, IntelliCAD, Ashlar Graphite, TurboCAD) and 3D CAD in undivided
computation package (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Pro / E).
In summation to the above given basal calculations, the document also includes several other supplemental calculations
(e.g. a computation of lubricant operational viscosity, computation of think loads for bearings tipsy by variable loads,
computation of permitted bearing velocity, etc.).
The programme uses data, procedures, algorithms and other information from specialised literature, catalogues of
tumbling bearings SKF, ISO, ANSI, SAE standards and other sources.
